How engagement fees are shaped

We quote fixed fees after a short scoping call. The figures below are starting points for financial auditing work — not a menu of identical packages.

Statutory Year-End Audit

An independent examination of annual financial statements for companies preparing reports under Japanese GAAP or IFRS.

From ¥1,800,000 per engagement

Internal Control Assessment

A focused review of how approvals, reconciliations, and segregation of duties actually operate across cash, purchases, and payroll.

From ¥680,000

Pre-Audit Readiness Review

A short engagement that pressure-tests your closing package before an external auditor arrives, reducing last-minute query volume.

From ¥420,000

Subsidiary Reporting Support

Independent checks on reporting packs sent to overseas parents, including intercompany eliminations and local GAAP to IFRS bridges.

Quote based on pack complexity

What moves a quote up or down

  • Number of legal entities and consolidations in scope
  • Inventory complexity and whether a full physical count is required
  • Availability of prior-year working papers and a stable trial balance
  • Reporting framework (Japanese GAAP, IFRS, or dual reporting)
  • Travel for on-site fieldwork outside Shimane
  • Compressed timelines around Golden Week or parent deadlines

Deposits and billing

Statutory engagements usually invoice 40% on acceptance of the engagement letter and the balance on report issuance. Shorter readiness and control reviews may be billed in a single invoice on delivery of the written findings.

Fees cover professional time, standard working papers, and the agreed report format. Out-of-pocket travel beyond neighbouring prefectures is agreed in advance. These prices are informational; no online payment is collected through this site.
